In 1996, Emporia State University began offering the Master of Science in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation online. We were the first in the world to do that. With over 20 years of experience in offering this program to distance students, faculty have been able to develop the most effective curriculum to ensure you receive an unprecedented education.

At Emporia State University, we understand the challenges of affording a graduate degree. We offer competitive tuition rates and scholarships, including a new graduate student scholarship, which are available for both on campus and online students.

The M.S. in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation offered through Emporia State University has adapted to the changing graduate student demographic and is now offered entirely online. This allows our students to complete the program on their schedule from their location.
